Jordan Taylor, born in Middle Tennessee, was raised in a Christian home. The youngest of a large family.
Two themes seemed quite evident in Jordan’s growing years: Christ, and Art. Other than his family, Jordan’s first experience of community was his local church. Some of his most influential relationships came from his church, and as Jordan was discipled by his mentors and friends, he fell more and more in love with Jesus.
In Sunday school, the teachers would always provide a time for coloring or arts & crafts that showed Jordan the love that he holds to build and create. From singing, dancing, and instruments, to arts and crafts, to skits and plays, there was always an opportunity for Jordan to worship God with the arts in the church.
Even as God has taken him around the world to other communities, one thing has been consistent, Christ’s love for His people, and Christ’s love through His people. Community is a big part of Jordan’s heart.
As Jordan has followed God to each community, he has brought his love for art with him. It seems as though he just can’t let it go. So in the fall of 2024 when God was leading him through job changes, he landed on using his artistic talents for a career. Now he hopes that this career will be an avenue to encourage, edify and bring others together through art using the talents that God has given him.
